In 2016, Jalopy Records’ engineer and producer Don Fierro started an ambitious project, to release a new EP every month for the duration of the year. These EPs featured artists from the world of folk and traditional music centered around the Jalopy Theatre.

The performances were mixed live to tape on location. After that they were kept analog all the way through the process of making the vinyl record, and only at the very last phase were digitized for download. The records are 100% analog signal from start to playback, a rare process these days. The albums have 2-4 songs (depending on length) on them and additional tracks (up to 6 total) are included digitally. All analog orders also receive a digital download.
